After breakfast you will depart for Tarangire National Park where you will enjoy an afternoon game drive with a packed lunch. You will return to the Camp as the sun sets, in time for dinner.
Tarangire National Park gets its name from the river that threads its way through the reserve. The park has one of the highest animal concentrations during the dry season, yet it is one of the least visited of the northern Tanzanian game parks, therefore retaining a real air of undiscovered Africa. Herds of elephant, buffalo, wildebeest, zebras, giraffes and Eland, as well as leopards can be seen throughout the year. For the bird enthusiast, the park offers over 300 species of birds. The vegetation in Tarangire is primarily acacia, mixed woodland, dense elephant grass along the river and numerous baobab trees.

Accommodation will be at Maramboi Tented Camp; en-suite tents with mosquito netting and private veranda overlooking the rift valley and Manyara Lake. The Tent has an elegant bush bar & restaurant with uninterrupted views of the Manyara shore and the bush beyond. A swimming pool is also available for your pleasure.

Day 3 Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast you will transfer to Manyara National Park, where you will enjoy a game drive with a picnic lunch. Well known for its tree-climbing lions, this is a magical and pretty park that winds its way around a mainly forested driving route between the banks of Soda Water Lake and the impressive rise of the Great Rift escarpment. The park covers 390 km² and is sanctuary to over 400 species of bird which include the pink flamingo, pelicans, storks, Ibis and Egyptian Geese. The park also contains huge herds of buffalo and elephant. You will then proceed to your Lodge in Karatu, arriving in time for dinner.

Accommodation will be at the Ngorongoro Farm House, or similar. Facilities include large en-suite rooms with mosquito netting and private veranda overlooking the farm, including a restaurant, bar and swimming pool.

Giraffe - Serengeti National Park

Day 4 Serengeti National Park
After breakfast you will proceed to Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch, where you will spot game en-route to your camp. Enjoy a relaxing evening and dinner at your camp. Arrive back at the camp as the sun sets in time for dinner.

Accommodation is provided at the Serengeti Kati Kati Tented Camp. This mobile tented camp is located in the Central Serengeti. Each tent has mosquito netting and en-suite facilities. A large and cosy mess-tent is located in the centre of the camp, where all meals are served, and the fire camp is lit each evening for appetizers and snacks before dinner.

Day 5 Serengeti National Park
Enjoy a full day of game drives in the Serengeti National Park. Serengeti Kati Kati Tented Camp is ideally located in the very centre of the Serengeti, therefore allowing you the opportunity to head off in the best direction to find the game you desire, regardless of the season.
The Serengeti is renowned for its annual wildebeest migration and large predator population. From February to May, a herd of over a million wildebeests migrate for the western corridor of the park in search of greener pastures. Serengeti’s' other common animals include lions, leopards, zebras, Thompson gazelles, impala, Grant’s gazelles and buffalos. Most of the park is open grassland broken by isolated granite kopies (hills) and patches of acacias woodlands.
Accommodation: Serengeti Kati Kati Tented Camp.

Day 6 Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast you will depart on a game drive and make your way to the Ngorongoro Conservation area, with a short visit to Olduvai Gorge and the museum which documents the discovery of 1.8 million year old human-like fossils. During your passage through the Conservation area, you will see many Maasai tending their cattle amongst plains game. Stop at the rim of the crater to spot game from a distance, before continuing to your lodge for the evening.

Accommodation is at the Ngorongoro Farm House, or similar, with large en-suite rooms, mosquito netting and private veranda overlooking the farm. Facilities include restaurant, bar and swimming pool.

Day 7 Ngorongoro Crater
Today you will experience a full day’s game drive on the floor of the Ngorongoro crater accompanied by a picnic lunch.
At 2286m above sea level and 20 km wide, the Ngorongoro Crater is the largest unbroken Caldera in the world. Surrounded by very steep walls, rising 610m from the crater floor, it covers 260 km2 and is home to over 30,000 animals, almost half of them being zebra and wildebeest. It is also home to the rare black rhino, prides of lion, elephant, cheetah and great herds of buffalo, antelope and wildebeest; Ngorongoro is listed as a World Heritage site.
