Chobe Chilwero borders the Chobe National Park, which is the second largest national park in Botswana. The lodge is situated above the Chobe River and offers unparalleled panoramic views across the islands and flood plains as far as Namibia. Accommodation is in 15 air-conditioned cottages and the main public area includes a lounge and dining room, which are linked to outdoor viewing patios.
Chobe Chilwero also boasts the first full spa on the Botswana Safari circuit.
Chilwero means “place of high view” in the local language of Setswana. Each of Chobe Chilwero’s 15 cottages measure 61 square metres and have ensuite bathrooms with a modern bath, indoor and outdoor showers, private garden with hammock, “sala” or private balcony, mosquito nets, ceiling fans, air-conditioning, hairdryer, mini-bar as well as an in-room safe.
The main public area includes a lounge and dining room, which are linked to outdoor viewing patios. The wine cellar is temperature controlled and houses a large variety of South African wines. The spa offers a range of spa and hydrotherapy treatments from both the Thalgo and Africology ranges. The lodge also boasts a split-level swimming pool, library, curio shop and a communications centre, which offers telephone, fax and internet access. Electricity, 240 volts, is permanently supplied.

Day trips to the Victoria Falls include bungee jumping, river rafting, shopping, touring the Falls, or elephant back riding. Scenic flights over four countries by helicopter are offered at an additional cost.
